The new AFH Series hanger does not require any stencils or cuts! Simply slide the two pieces of 5/8" gypsum into place after the hanger is properly installed.

The AFH firewall hanger series is for multi level wood framing where a 2 hour rated stud wall is required (Type III construction). The AFH series was designed for both safety and ease of installation. After the fasteners are properly installed as per schedule, two pieces of 5/8" gypsum board can be placed behind the hanger (no cuts necessary).
